Are you ready for Time Trials? Because, if you like SCCA track days/TNIA, we think you are going to love TT- here’s why: Track days/TNIA fit pretty well into a schedule, but every now and again, you have to go big.
Competition brings out the best. Everything gets a little more fun when you start to keep score- even if you are only doing it to see if you can beat yourself. Think of it as a 5k for car people- do your best, see how you stack up and then come back to set a new personal best.
This is what motorsports should be. Motorsports started with a simple question- how fast can you go? It was a world of drivers who drove the car they had to the track, competed and drove it home. SCCA Time Trials is all about connecting with the spirit from which SCCA was born, and creating a space where it can thrive.
Best part? You can do Time Trials in the same car you do Track day/TNIA. In fact, the only thing you need for Time Trials that you may not already have is a TT license, which is used to set your group for TT events. How do I get that, you ask? If you are an SCCA member, just go to the Time Trials Driver Eligibility page, scroll to the bottom and request your license.
