I'm in the purchasing mode for the preparation of mounting a passenger seat in the ITA car. This will most likely be used for the PDE event at Pocono this year.
In looking around, Grassroots Motorsports just had an article about mounting seat belts, the hardware used and wear they purchased it.
I looked at the Pegasus website, my first choice in dealing with hardware for the car, but I did not see the backing plates like Scott Lear was using for mounting his seat belts in the Type R. So it looks like I'm, unfortunately, going to be buying things from multiple vendors to complete this job the way I want it done... similar to the GRM article.
Driving Impressions has the longer "eye" bolts.
Racer Wholesale has the unibody backing plates.
Passenger side:
Corbeau FX1, bottom mount, 5pt harness, window net and net mount coming soon... also from OG Racing, a driver to instructor intercom system.
Just figured I'd share what I'm up to.

If you ever need stainless or aluminum stock in any configuration, let me know. I frequent a great supply/scrapyard called Billy Warren's in Greenwood DE. Everything is $1.40/lb, except rusty metal, 20 cents per pound.
I bought all my metal to build my aluminum trailer there.
