NJMP - J.D. reported that our July regional will be a combined MARRS & NARRC series event. J.D. suggested to Jim Wakemen that maybe we should have a rally in conjunction with one of our race events at NJMP. Discussion followed and it was felt, overall, that this would be a good endeavor. Jim will get some information together.

At Speed - J.D. reported that Tom Smith, along with his parents, Dick & Beverly Smith will be the new editors for our region publication.

Rally - Jim Wakemen reported that the March Lamb and the Spring Fling events will be held, back to back, on March 28th and March 29th. Picture This is tentatively scheduled for April 29th. We will have events in May, June, July (these two will be tour rallys), August, September-which will be a tour rally, and the Which Way in October.

Solo - Brian reported that the trophies are in and they will be presented at our Annual Banquet. The 2009 schedule will be finalized by the end of January. We will be having a joint winter series - in partnership with the Philadelphia Region - and the dates are as follows: January 18th at NJMP, February 8th at Citizens Bank Park, March 8th at NJMP, and March 21st at Citizens Bank Park. Camden County College will be our venue this year.

John went over the details for our Annual Banquet which will be held at Fontana's in Maple Shade on Saturday, January 24th. The cost per ticket is $50. There will be a cash bar. Discussion centered on establishing a criteria for the nomination and presentment of awards in all areas of our sport.

New Business - J.D. announced that there is going to be a NJMP workers party at the track and asked permission to hand out the t-shirts from our first event at NJMP. All board members agreed that this would be a good gesture. As our regular meeting place at the Clarion is under renovations, we need to find another venue for our monthly Membership and Race Planning Committee meetings. Bob suggested Ventura's restaurant on Rt. 73. He will follow up and give a report at our Membership meeting next week which will be at the hotel.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Sue King
Secretary
